"Home of CSEARCH"
About
2 weeks ago I had to move into
my new office - this office is now the 'Home of CSEARCH' for about 1
year.
The
entrance and my storage cabinets
for copies of articles from the chemical literature (the frescoes on
the wall behind are early 20th century)
The
area where our group-internal
discussions take place - also the place where my guests will (or
better: have to) sit down
and enjoy(?) a cup of coffee. The white shadows on the wall (left) have
been created from two circular saws - this room was formerly used
as cabinetmakers workshop
My
desk and the server, which is
accessed a few thousand times per day
I think this environment allows me to focus
on CSEARCH itself - there is definitely no distraction around as you
can see from the slides above ! Maybe this is the secret of the success
of CSEARCH ;-))
