The Working Party
on NMR-Spectroscopy (AG-NMR) of the
Austrian Chemical
Society (GÖCh) together with the Institute of Organic Chemistry of
the University of Vienna and
the Institute of Organic
Chemistry of the Johannes Kepler University Linz announce the
NMR-Summerschool
„1D- and 2D-NMR Spectroscopy in Liquids“
9. September 2012
to 14. September 2012 at
"Club/Sportunion - Niederöblarn"
Program: 12 lectures held by well-known NMR-experts will be given, the topics will cover:
Experimental Techniques in 1D- und 2D-NMR
Application of NMR-Spectroscopy to Structure Elucidation Problems
Conformational Analysis
Structural Analysis of Biopolymers (Proteins, Carbohydrates)
Basic Principles, Formalism and Computersimulation
Language: English
The basic rule is: All lectures/exercises/tutorials will be given in English - if there is 100% agreement (= all people present !) on German language, then it is possible to switch to German language.
Exercises: In small groups (4-10 persons). Topics will cover "Interpretation of NMR-Spectra (Structure Elucidation of Synthetic Organic Molecules and Natural Products), NMR-Theory, Structure Elucidation of Biopolymers, Computer Application and Software. The exercises will be adapted to the knowledge of the participants - feel free to select the appropriate group and feel free to change the group !
